To mark the 175th anniversaries of the train stations at Cupar, Ladybank and Kirkcaldy, a special rail trip has been organised by the SRPS.
Leaving from Linlithgow at 8am next Sunday, travellers can relax in the 1960s carriages as they are hauled by the 37 403 Isle of Mull diesel locomotive.
Travelling along the east coast to Aberdeen, including crossing both the Forth and Tay bridges, it stops in Inverness before commencing the return journey. Breakfasts and dinner can be booked in advance. Contact train manager Jim Paterson on 01592 872392.
