Only way to stop Haaland is burst the ball

-

Arsenal host Liverpool today and you have to give credit to the Gunners.

They have had a brilliant start to the season and have been leading the way.

This time last year, some people questioned if Mikel Arteta was the right man for the job. The hierarchy stood by him, and rightly so.

Mikel has made some bold and brave decisions during his time in charge and he appears to have a really strong squad and a good atmosphere.

But Liverpool will go there with confidence. They have a very good record against the Gunners.

Arsenal look like they can go the course and distance this season but it will take an almighty effort to stop Manchester City.

They are in fine form and Erling Haaland is just phenomenal. He scores for fun and found the net again yesterday in City’s 4-0 win over Southampton.

I think the only way you can get this guy off the scoresheet is to burst the ball!

The quality of his finishing is exceptional. And the quality of the delivery he receives from his team-mates is breathtaking.

Whether it’s Kevin De Bruyne or Phil Foden, the supply is non-stop. They both thread passes in “eye-ofthe-needle” fashion.

At this moment everyone is guessing how many Erling will score in this campaign. He does look as though he could break many records, let’s be honest.

We will just need to wait and see. But he is very, very special, that is for sure.

He knows the way to goal and operates between the width of the posts.

But he can also chip in with an assist, as he did for Phil in last weekend’s Manchester derby.

As a football fan you just marvel at the quality. But if you are part of the opposition, you are hoping his run dries up. And quickly!
