Instead of having beef regularly, we now buy more chicken and salads.

There are only the two of us (and the cat) to feed. Our milk bill (we have fresh milk and eggs delivered) remains unchanged!

I use the microwave as much as possible. I also use supermarkets’ own brand and find they are just as good.

If you’re putting the oven on, cook other things at the same time and freeze them for another day.
