VanBronckhorst not for quitting as boos ring out

-

Giovanni van Bronckhorst vowed to fight on as Rangers manager, despite yet another below-par performance yesterday.

The Light Blues required a late John Lundstram equaliser to salvage a point against Livingston at Ibrox.

And, like after the midweek Premier Sports Cup win over Dundee, they were booed off at full-time by their irate support – but at half-time as well.

Van Bronckhorst admitted: “I’m not happy with our performance.

“For the whole game, we weren’t in it. That’s frustrating.

“Normally we start on the front-foot and on this occasion it was the opposite. It looked like we lost every second ball, and didn’t win our duels.

“I only saw the aggressiveness, speed of play and the fight after we got it to 1-1.

“I am trying my best. As a manager, you have to stick with your beliefs and with your way of playing,

“I believe my players are still behind me.”
