Rather it came when Spider-Man’s girlfriend-to-be MJ (Kirsten Dunst) slips in the school canteen, sending her lunch tray flying. Tobey Maguire had to coolly break her fall and catch every lunch item – without CGI assistance. He managed it, on the 156th attempt. That’s superhuman levels of perseverance.
