Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever were complete strangers when they were cast as best friends in the high-school comedy. But they instantly clicked and decided to become room-mates, spending virtually every waking hour in each other’s company and forming a bond that became obvious in their performances. Feldstein was nominated at the Golden Globes while Dever went on to win acclaim in Dopesick, about the opioid scandal.
