THE SCOTS MAGAZINE
I’ve written before about how I’m not the biggest fan of Christmas. For starters, it’s usually a grey Christmas, rather than white.
Working on The Scots Magazine’s festive edition, however, always softens my Scrooge-like heart. There is so much wonderful, fun stuff going on all around the country at this time of year that even I get a wee bit excited.
One of the best places to celebrate Christmas and New Year is Edinburgh. In this issue, we bring you a 14-page special on the capital, giving you loads of inspiration on how to get the best out of the festive season there.
You’ll also find a fantastic article on Scottish Ballet’s touring production of The Snow Queen. Based on the same Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale as the smashhit Disney film Frozen, it’s a great way to introduce little nippers to something a bit more cultural.
