Winter freeze grips Europe
“The first big cold spell of the winter sent temperatures down yesterday in many parts of Europe,” read The Post.
“Some areas reported their first big snowfalls. Berlin: Covered with a blanket of snow for the first time this winter. Rome: The cold weather wave rolling down the length of the Italian peninsula brought the first snows to southern Italy. Paris: The cold spell, covering most of France, brought temperatures down to 28F.”
