Garden of the week

Riverside Park in Perth is where horticultural charity Beautiful Perth maintains its huge heather collection. Created using more than 500 varieties, there is heather in flower here all year round.

Volunteers maintain the flower beds and they have adopted some beds in neighbouring Rodney Gardens, while assisting with the upkeep of the Passionate Friends’ contemplative garden in the park. The park is free to visit and is open all year round.
