The Sunday Telegraph - Sport - - Premier League -

Liverpool have been awarded four penalties in the Premier League since Boxing Day, with no other team having been given more than one. Mohamed Salah has won three of their spotkicks.

Liverpool have 57 points from 22 games. Adjusting for three points a win, only Preston (58 in 1888-89), Spurs (59, 1960-61), Chelsea (61, 2005-06) and Man City (62 in 2017-18) had more at this stage in the top flight.

Brighton manager Chris Hughton has lost more league games to Liverpool as a manager (seven from seven games) than to any other side, His teams have conceded 26 goals to them in those seven matches.

Hughton’s side have now lost as many games at the Amex Stadium in all competitions this season – four of 12 matches – as they did in all of their 22 games at home in the 2017-18 campaign.
