The words ‘cult clas­sic’ can be used too of­ten when talk­ing about film, but in we have a gen­uine con­tender on our our hands. It has all the pre­req­ui­sites: a sur­real satire on race re­la­tions and con­sumerism in the age of Trump, its mix of com­edy/drama/hor­ror glee­fully breaks all the genre rules. In it, Lakeith Stan­field is a tele­mar­keter who hits the big time thanks to his un­canny ‘white voice’. But when he starts sell­ing a form of en­slaved labour called Worry Free, things get weird, fast. Don’t miss.
