How easy is it?
A snapshot of the rules and regulations skiers face this season
Ski restrictions differ by country. In France, the newly introduced pass vaccinal rules the slopes – all over-16s must be fully vaccinated (with a booster after seven months of their second dose) to be able to enjoy anything resembling a ski holiday. And 12- to 15-year-olds must carry a pass sanitaire – for those who aren’t yet doublejabbed this will involve testing daily, and paying for it. Similar health passes are in force in Italy, Austria and Switzerland – the latter two offering exemptions for children and teenagers.
