New for 2022, the British Alpine Ski School (BASS) has introduced a flexible programme of threehour ski clinics in Les Trois Vallées resorts of Courchevel and Méribel. Level 3 Intermediate Improvers aims to perfect parallels and improve technique in small confidence-building groups of three people and you can opt for one day, everyday or every other day, morning or afternoon. SAINTE FOY To free your mind
You can radically improve your riding with the right mental approach. Snowboarder and mindfulness guru Jenny Jones offers a six-day Snowboard and Mindset course in the Tarentaise resort of Sainte Foy in March. ST ANTON To seek out powder
Got the reds and blacks sorted? Then it’s time to try off-piste. While it helps to be confident and physically fit, the key requirement is a competent instructor to keep you safe and show you how it is done. LAAX To prepare for the park
Executing the perfect double backflip may be some way off, but if you want to give the rails, kickers and boxes a try there’s arguably no better place than in Laax – home to the biggest halfpipe in the world, an Olympic-size kicker line and more than 90 obstacles, spread over five terrain parks, each tailored to varying abilities.
