Stuck on a plateau but just need a refresher, rather than a whole week of lessons? New for 2022, the British Alpine Ski School (BASS) has introduced a flexible programme of threehour ski clinics in Les Trois Vallées resorts of Courchevel and Méribel. Level 3 Intermedia­te Improvers aims to perfect parallels and improve technique in small confidence-building groups of three people and you can opt for one day, everyday or every other day, morning or afternoon. SAINTE FOY To free your mind

You can radically improve your riding with the right mental approach. Snowboarde­r and mindfulnes­s guru Jenny Jones offers a six-day Snowboard and Mindset course in the Tarentaise resort of Sainte Foy in March. The programme includes four days of full coaching, video analysis, yoga sessions and evening workshops exploring the psychology behind successful performanc­e. ST ANTON To seek out powder

Got the reds and blacks sorted? Then it’s time to try off-piste. While it helps to be confident and physically fit, the key requiremen­t is a competent instructor to keep you safe and show you how it is done. LAAX To prepare for the park

Executing the perfect double backflip may be some way off, but if you want to give the rails, kickers and boxes a try there’s arguably no better place than in Laax – home to the biggest halfpipe in the world, an Olympic-size kicker line and more than 90 obstacles, spread over five terrain parks, each tailored to varying abilities. The resort’s indoor freestyle academy is the first of its kind in Europe and allows learners to master the basics on trampoline­s and in foam pits in safety.
