A dress for all seasons and (almost) every occasion

Agood green dress is like having a best friend tucked away in your wardrobe: it has the potential to cheer you up, plus it can cope with any situation, at any time of the year and will provide you with a few compliments, too.

I have a couple that I rely on time and time again. In fact, on a cost per wear basis, they have exceeded all expectations. I can pull them out at Christmas time (they are perfect for a party teamed with leopard-print heels and a dash of red lipstick), during the long approach to spring with a camel coat and boots, and then all summer long with gold sandals and a tan.

It’s a bold statement, but I truly believe that everyone suits green; you just need to find the tones that work best for you. I am olive-skinned, so I will wear everything from lime through to deep forest greens and mossy hues. If you are fairer, stick to a richer palette, which will add warmth to your complexion.
