FOUR STEPS TO A FLAWLESS COMPLEXION

-

1

Start with a rich face cream that will cocoon the skin. Tilbury’s Magic

Cream was used backstage at fashion shows years before it became

available to buy. You could also try the French

pharmacy favourite Embryolisse Lait-Crème

Concentré moisturiser

2

Primer is one of those products that seems like

an unnecessary extra, but if you want a longlasting glow, Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless

Filter immediately livens the complexion – you could use it alone as a base, too. Also effective is Bionic Glow by Milk

Makeup – try it mixed with your moisturiser

3

If you find the primer

has done the heavy lifting for you, just pat on a brightening concealer under the eyes and on any areas of

discolouration. Or follow with a light layer

of foundation, working from the centre outwards (you seldom need it all

over your face). Nars’s Light Reflecting Foundation is a great option

4

A fine layer of bronzer in a “3” shape on both sides of the face works wonders. Start from your temples, curve round to

the tops of your cheekbones and back down to

your jawline. This imitates where the sun would naturally hit your face, so gives a convincing glow. Add a pop of blush on the cheeks and

you’re done. Victoria Beckham Beauty bronzers are great, as are those

by Vieve. For blush, try the universally flattering

Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in

Soft Copper.
