Women are more judged for their age than men are, and if you disagree, it’s probably because you’re either a man, or too young to have been judged for your age yet. Give it time. Like a crow’s foot, it’s coming. As will the edicts to dress age-appropriately.
We’ll have none of that, thank you. These so-called rules have no place in 2022 – particularly when they pertain to what one should and shouldn’t wear past a certain age. From red lipstick to shorts, wear what you like, regardless of what it says on your birth certificate. And if you need encouragement, here follows a list of items that many older women feel particularly nervous of embracing, along with pointers on how to wear them.
