YOU SHOULD EMBRACE YOUR GREYS
The Duchess of Cornwall’s colourist Jo Hansford says that no one ever grows out their greys with her. Camilla, 74, is a great example, having stuck to buttery blonde highlights for decades, but also inspiring is Joan Collins, 88, with her still-dark hair. However, as Sarah Jessica Parker, 57, so brilliantly illustrated in And Just Like That, grey can look chic, too, if it’s styled in a modern way. Fekkai has been using a colour technique called “camouflaging”, which is for those who don’t want to completely grow out their greys and “in-betweeners”, whose hair is 30-40 per cent grey. “You do lowlights on 20-25 per cent of your greys, rather than covering it all at once,” he says.
