Thais pay their respects to king

-

Thousands of Thais streamed into Bangkok’s Grand Palace yesterday as the public was allowed to enter the throne hall where the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej is lying in state.

In the two weeks since the 88-year-old monarch died, crowds of people, wearing only black and white, have gathered at the palace in the hope of catching a glimpse of the king’s body.
