JJ Abrams’s well-written romantic fantasy is a bit on the slushy side but terrifically engaging. With his girlfriend in a coma, a distraught test pilot (Mel Gibson) agrees to be frozen in a cryogenics experiment. But he is forgotten about until two children discover his body 50 years later. Jamie Lee Curtis and a young Elijah Wood provide charming support.
