Anger as charges for hen harrier death dropped
A decision by prosecutors to drop charges against a former gamekeeper accused of illegally shooting a bird of prey has angered conservationists.
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) said one of its cameras in Moray recorded evidence of a hen harrier being illegally killed in 2013.
The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service in Scotland said the film would not be admissible in court as it was collected by covert surveillance.
