EgyptAir jet ‘not blown up’, says French source

No traces of explosives were found on remains of French victims from an EgyptAir plane that crashed into the Mediterranean last year, a source close to the French investigation said.

The finding “closes the door”, said the source, on speculation the Airbus A320 was blasted out of the sky en route from Paris to Cairo, killing all 66 people on board. EgyptAir MS804 disappeared from radar on May 19.
