Indelible ink
SIR – Like Alan Morley (Letters, April 1), I have used a fountain pen all my life – and still do, paper permitting.
My favoured instrument is a Parker 51, which was given to me by my aunt over 50 years ago. I used it throughout university and, when I was a civil servant, my black ink – along with the odd fingerprint – became my trademark. Gerald Lee
