Boomer-bashing

SIR – I could not agree more with David Hughes (Letters, April 15).

I am heartily sick of the attacks on baby boomers by people who seem to resent the fact that, through hard work and careful planning, we have found ourselves financially secure in later life. Some begrudge me my £200 Winter Fuel Payment, but do not realise that I lost over £15,000 to the taxman last year.

Give us a break. We are supporting more people than are supporting us. Keith Rawlings
