Bodies found in search for Storm Diana couple
The search for a couple who went missing on a Scottish beach during Storm Diana ended yesterday when police discovered two bodies.
Officers said a woman was found dead at the edge of the water in Port William, Newton Stewart, at about 8.15am and the body of a man was found about 30 minutes later.
A major operation to find Jim and Susan Kenneavy was launched after their vehicle was found at Drummore beach in the south of Scotland, where a coastal road was submerged.
RNLI lifeboats frantically searched Luce Bay for the couple, after workmen clearing the flooded road found their empty car.
