February 23 2003: Two bullet casings found on Proctor Street outside a party. No victims reported. March 24 2003: Shots fired from a car on George Street West after known gang members are heard asking after rivals at 2:30pm. June 13 2003: A 24-year-old man is hit in the arm, neck and back at 11:30pm in a drive-by shooting on Winson Green. He survives but won’t talk. June 14 2003: A gunman in a car shoots a man in the leg outside a club in Lozells at 4:50am. No witnesses and victim flees. August 20 2003: A 19-year-old is shot in the back and foot at 1:30am in an attempted murder at Winson Green. May 9 2004: Woman asleep in a parked car narrowly misses being hit during a gang shoot-out at 4:30am in central Birmingham. June 28 2004: Bullets fired at parked cars, later found to contain £3,000 of heroin, in Hockley Brook Close. One shot enters a nearby house. October 2 2004: Five bullets found after shots fired during a high-speed chase on Thimble Hill Lane at 10:55pm. November 20 2004: Bouncer Ishfaq Ahmed, 24, killed, and three colleagues injured outside nightclub. Six men linked to Johnson Crew jailed for murder. July 23 2005: Kemar Whittaker executes Andrew Huntley under a railway arch on Heath Mill Lane, and is later jailed for life. January 9 2009: Armed robbers kill Craig Hodson-Walker and injure his father during a botched post office burglary.
