Murder charge after father is stabbed in back

A man has been charged with murder after a “caring” father of four was fatally stabbed, police said.

Yasir Hussain, 34, was named by West Midlands Police yesterday as the man found critically injured in Central Drive, Dudley.

Officers said 20-year-old Nabeel Choudhary, of Hope Street, West Bromwich, was charged with murder.

A post-mortem examination found Mr Hussain, of Lancashire, died from stab wounds to his back.

Three people arrested on suspicion of murder have been released under investigation, as has a 21-year-old woman detained on suspicion of assisting an offender.
