Police arrest suspect in June Jones murder case
Police hunting for the suspected murderer of June Jones have arrested a man in Liverpool.
West Midlands Police had been searching for Michael Foran, 32, in connection with the death of Ms Jones, 33, who was found at her maisonette in Wyndmill Crescent, on the Charlemont Farm estate in West Bromwich, at around 2am on Dec 31.
Detectives believed Mr Foran, who had been in a relationship with Ms Jones, had travelled to Liverpool. A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “Detectives investigating the murder of 33-year-old June Jones have this afternoon arrested a 32-year-old man in Liverpool on suspicion of murder.”
