Shopping two ways
SIR – Last week our fridge packed up. I went to the Currys website, saw the fridge we wanted and checked it was in-store. At 1.15pm we drove the eight miles to Barnstaple Currys, checked the fridge on display and bought it.
By the time we reached the outer doors a young man was there with the fridge on a trolley. We loaded up and drove home, reaching our house at 2.20pm. In total it was just over an hour from research to installation.
Et voila: an excellent combination of shopping both online and in-store (Letters, December 30). Sally Rowe
