DRC runner-up files fraud claim

Martin Fayulu, runner-up in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s presidential poll. has filed a court challenge asking for a recount.

Republican Guard soldiers and police officers had surrounded his home as he pledged to take his claims to court, raising questions about whether he would be allowed to leave his home.

The constitutional court has seven days to consider his complaint.
