Huawei worker accused of spying

Huawei, the Chinese telecoms equipment maker, said it had terminated the employment of a worker arrested on spying allegations in Poland.

Polish authorities on Friday arrested Wang Weijing on spying allegations, a move that could fuel Western security concerns about the firm.

Huawei said Mr Weijing’s alleged actions “have no relation to the company”.
