Hague attacker hunted after children stabbed

-

Dutch police kept up a huge manhunt yesterday for an assailant who stabbed three youths in The Hague’s main shopping area.

Officials said they were keeping an open mind about the motive for the attack, which came as shoppers hunted for Black Friday bargains.

The incident caused panic in The Hague just hours after two people were stabbed to death in London.

The male attacker ran off after the stabbings at a department store in the city centre’s Grote Marktstraat, The Hague’s main shopping area.

The victims were a 13-year-old boy and two 15-year-old girls who did not know each other, the ANP news agency said, quoting police. Images on social media showed shoppers running from the scene in panic.
