Baby among migrants picked up in Channel

A baby was among more than 100 migrants who were picked up in the English Channel yesterday, as figures compiled by The Sunday Telegraph show that more than 1,000 people have made it to the United Kingdom since lockdown began. Some 1,453 people have made landfall on UK beaches this year after crossing the dangerous waterway, with 1,064 doing so since March 23.
