Cleaned out

-

SIR – My husband (86 years old) needed to have his ears syringed prior to a referral for hearing aids.

On the telephone to the surgery, I was told: “We no longer carry out this procedure”. We were then told to go to the local pharmacy.

Cost: £50 for one ear and a further £30 for the other one.
