George, born in 1881, joined the Navy in 1914, then the Royal Naval Air Service, and died in 1947. Arthur, born in 1885, enlisted in the Buffs in 1902. He emigrated to Canada and enlisted in the Canadian Expedition­ary Force (CEF) in 1914. Killed in action in 1917. Herbert George, born in 1888, enlisted in 1915 and took part in operations in Pakistan. He held the India General Service Medal and the General Service and Victory Medals. After the war, he moved to Canada. James Amos, born in 1889, emigrated to Canada in 1908. Returned to Europe with the CEF and awarded the Distinguis­hed Conduct Medal. Suffering from PTSD, he jumped from a liner in 1920. enlisted in the Canadian Grenadier Guards. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and died in 1976. Frederick, born in 1891, served with the Grenadier Guards before emigrating to Canada in 1911. He enlisted in the CEF in 1915. Killed in action in 1916. Harry, born in 1892, emigrated to Canada around 1910. Arrived in France with the CEF. Killed in action in 1918. Amos Mark, born in 1894, emigrated to Canada in 1910. He enlisted in the CEF in 1915. He was discharged in 1919, and lived until 1960. Verney Richard, born in 1897, enlisted in the Territoria­l Force. Emigrated to Canada in 1921 and died in 1979. Stanley, born in 1899. Claimed to be 19 when he enlisted with the Buffs aged 15. Discharged and re-enlisted in the Grenadier Guards aged 18. Died 1978.
