Who ghost there?

-

Experts on the paranormal say that in the past two years, they have seen a two to three times increase in sightings of ghosts. Psychologists say this rise in spooky activity is down to the stresses of lockdown, although is it not more likely that being trapped in the house all day increases one’s chance of witnessing the supernatural? Meanwhile, ghostly experts on the living say their correspondents have seen a five to six times increase in sightings of human beings. “It used to be that the house was empty all day,” said Headless Horace of East Cheam, “but now it’s occupied by a man. Permanently! He spends all day in the bed, emailing on his laptop, and if things don’t improve, I’m tempted to call an exorcist. Perhaps they can cast him back to the office.”
