Muppets Most Wanted (2014)

In this uneven sequel to 2011’s excellent The Muppets, the gang tours Europe, where Kermit the Frog is kidnapped and replaced by a doppelgänger. Masterminding the plot is a sleazy Ricky Gervais. The film contains moments of joy with its fun musical numbers and clever gags, but the Muppets themselves are strangely crowded out by cameo overkill from the likes of Lady Gaga and Céline Dion.
