Syrian joy Pilot who posed with Assad shot down
Syrians were celebrating last night as a Russian pilot involved in bombing raids on their country was shot down over Ukraine and captured.
Maj Krasnoyartsev is believed to have been pictured alongside Vladimir Putin and Bashar al-Assad at Russia’s Khmeimim air base in northwest Syria, where the pilots were lauded as heroes.
