Scottish hospitality Her Majesty ushered in
A community has welcomed the Queen spending more time at Craigowan Lodge.
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh used to at the sevenbedroom stone house a mile from Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire at the start of their summer break.
Geva Blackett, a local councillor said: “She is very much part of the community and we love her.”
James Anderson, chairman of Ballater and Crathie council, added: “It is a very relaxing area and she likes it up here.”
