Surrey homes targeted with racist pamphlets
Police are investigating after dozens of Surrey homes were targeted with pamphlets containing racist and homophobic abuse.
Houses across Woking were visited by people who posted the leaflets through letter boxes, leading detectives to appeal to recipients who received them to check their doorbell cameras, if they have them fitted.
Officers said that it was believed the leaflet-drop appeared to have avoided those homes with CCTV cameras.
A spokesman for Surrey Police said last night: “We are appealing to the public for information after receiving reports of racist and homophobic leaflets being posted through the letterboxes of homes across Woking in the last few days.”
