Over 100 dead lambs ‘fly-tipped’ on farmland
Police have launched an investigation after more than 100 dead lambs were “fly-tipped” on a farm.
Staff discovered the bodies of the 101 animals in bags at Hill Farm in Radlett, Herts. The carcasses had been dumped in a field from a large truck or van between 3pm on Thursday and 3.45pm on Friday.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said officers were liaising with the National Farmers’ Union to try to establish the cause of the incident, which they are treating as “fly-tipping”.
A spokesman said: “Officers are appealing for witnesses and information after over 100 dead lambs were dumped on a farm in Radlett.”
