Small mercies

This tiny squirrel cub is one of 20 that were were rescued by conservationists from Dicle Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre in Diyarbakir, Turkey. They were being taken out of the city to be sold, but the centre found 14 were found to be strong enough to be released into the wild, while six were in need of further care and were fed milk from syringes.
