Cost of not fracking

SIR – I note that Catherine Starkie (Letters, April 24) is prepared, and presumably able, to pay more for her fuel rather that allow fracking.

Might I ask her to spare a thought for those who are unable to pay more? I am a pensioner and my fuel bills have more than doubled.
