Flying high

Two Typhoons flew over the Falkland Islands and residents spoke of their gratitude for “freedom” on the 40th anniversary of UK forces landing there to recapture it from Argentina in 1982. Its government said it was “determined to take control of our own destiny and shape our own success”.
