Shipyard analysis, 1992-2001

• US-based Broward delivered 48 projects during the

1990s, primarily operating out of Fort Lauderdale.

• Flying the flag for Europe was Dutch-based yard Feadship, which contributed 37 projects to the fleet. They were also among the biggest superyachts constructed, averaging over 50m LOA.

• The five shipyards listed here would deliver 18 per

cent of the fleet during the period of analysis.
