Leading the way in safe water solutions
In 2010, the UN General Assembly explicitly recognised the human right to safe and affordable water.
Ulster University’s SAFEWATER Research Centre has global reach with projects in South America, India and sub-Saharan Africa.
We’re leading on a transdisciplinary project funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund to develop technologies which will help to reduce incidence of waterborne disease and supply safe, potable water to improve the quality of life of families in poor communities throughout the world.
We pride ourselves on research excellence with global significance.
