» Thursday, April 4, 10am to 12noon: Mid-week Car Boot Sale at Tiverton Market. Entry free for buyers, £5 for sellers, to include a parking permit, plus £1 per table.
» Saturday, April 6, 9am to 2pm: Tiverton Spring Festival Farmer’s Market. These monthly showpiece events in the pannier market focus on local, quality, fresh, sustainable produce with 40 to 50 stalls. There will also be a dedicated area to showcase local makers, with other traders, live music, entertainment and extras.
» Tuesday, April 9, 10am to 12noon: Tiverton Museum Craft Session. Drop-in (no need to book). £3 per child with a paying adult (£2.50 with a museum member).
» Tuesday, April 9, 7.15pm: The Royal Ballet presents Macmillan Celebrated (live from the Royal Opera House ) three pieces: Danses Concertantes, commissioned by Ninette de Valois in 1955; followed by Different Drummer; and the programme concludes with Requiem, his 1976 work for Stuttgart Ballet, created in memory of its late artistic director, Macmillan’s friend and former Royal Ballet dancer and choreographer John Cranko. » Tuesday, April 9, 7.30pm: A Talk for Tiverton Civic Society by John Davidson on ‘Floods and Flood Protection in the River Exe Basin’. Mayoralty Room at Tiverton Town Hall. £5 for non-members. NB: No one will be admitted after 7.30 pm, when the Town Hall doors will be closed.
