Lime trees

Beautiful lime trees are common in parks and along pavements. Their sweet-smelling flowers attract different insects and their leaves provide shade on hot days. At this time of year, lime trees are popular with aphids, which feed on the trees’ leaves. In response, lime trees produce a sticky sap that can drip onto cars.
