Royal sporting support

Since 1861, the Queen or King has been Henley’s patron, which means the monarch supports the regatta. Another well-known royal sporting event is the Braemar Gathering Highland Games in Scotland – Queen Elizabeth II has been its patron since 1952 and has attended every year since.
