Sabre-toothed squirrel saved

-

Jannet Talbott, from Alberta, Canada was shocked to find a squirrel with a fearsome overgrown tooth. Ok, it may not be quite as terrifying as stumbling across a sabre-toothed tiger, but the scary squirrel, which she named Bucky, had a tooth that was growing close to his eye and prevented the animal from eating. Squirrels’ teeth never stop growing, but are worn down when they eat. It’s thought that Bucky’s teeth weren’t aligned and therefore weren’t wearing down. Talbott saved the creature’s life by cutting the fang down to size.
