The Labour Party has announced that if it gets into government it would like to reduce the number of hours people in the UK have to work.

Schools in Colorado in the US started having a four-day week in 2018 and many teachers and students think it has been a success.

Around 74% of UK workers support the idea of a four-day working week, according to a YouGov survey.

Some organisations have said a four-day week will not work for them because it would be unfair on some staff – such as doctors and nurses – whose jobs can’t be done in just four days.
